Skins might be a smutty show, but you have to admit it has really interesting camera work. Look at this composition. Look at how separated these two are even though they’re in the same room. not only is Cook boxed of by the thick frame of the mirror, but Freddie is on a shaded wall. Also notice, that Cook who is in a downward spiral is very small compared to Freddie. Love it. I’ll keep watching for things like this.
Birds Eye View Room Portraits by Menno Aden
Through a camera installed on the ceiling Menno Aden abstracts most familiar actual living environments and indoor public spaces into flattened two-dimensional scale models. These birds-eye-view photographs capture a unique perspective on rooms, compared to the perfectly neat and tidy interior photos we are so used to seeing.
LOL.
Oh you guys, we didn’t know a lens comparison video could be so. good. (yet so wrong.)
What’s the Difference Between Canon’s L Series Lenses & Cinema Primes Lenses?
By Jonathan Yi; via Taylor Davidson
A rep from Cannon came to our college to promote the new cinema line and I had my Nikon D5100 over my shoulder and he stared me down in the hall before the demo.

So cool.
I creeped on this couple hardcore the other day. but the moment they were having was just so pretty and genuine that I had to photograph it.
You’re probably looking at these photos and wondering how much time and expensive equipment it took to pull them off, but think again.
Eric Staller created these incredible light drawings back in the 1970’s with a 35mm film camera, 4th of July sparklers, and some Christmas lights. Not bad, huh?

Spotted today at Photokina: Hasselblad’s new Lunar mirrorless camera!
Hasselblad was the first camera to go to the moon, so they brought a little bit of that back with this retro-looking ditty.
Performance-wise, it has a 24.3MP sensor, shoots up to 16K ISO, HD video, and has a swiveling 3” screen. Some have pointed out it’s the same build as a Sony NEX-7, but what especially stands out is it’s $6,000 price tag.

I think somebody put dry ice in your coffee.
Don’t drink that.
