My mom wakes me up by asking me a series of questions. Usually by the end of them, I feel like I’m living a wasted life. “Kate are you awake?” almost “What are you doing today?” Homework, work “Anything else?” Not really “Could you do a few things around the house?” Sure “Any plans for the weekend?” Uhhh,not really “You Sure?” Maybe something but nothing is planned. “Oh, Okay, it’s almost 9, you should get up.”
