A Series of Unfortunate Events is making me think about the concept of library in a different way.

gosh, I’m sorry. I know how you feel - I’m “a twig” too, and I get it all the time. It bothers me how it’s okay for people to make comments like that solely because they follow it up with “you’re so lucky!” or whatever. Bleh!

Saying something totally obnoxious about a person followed by a statement that you envy/appreciate that quality does not make the obnoxious part any less obnoxious and uncalled for.
Like “Wow you have some junk in your trunk” followed by “I wish I had curves like that”. It does not make the first part any less rude.
The same way “I’m not racist but…” is always followed by a blatantly prejudice statement.
